Do I need a breast lift? And can I get a lift with my existing implants? (photos)

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

Hello thank you for your question. It depends on what you are looking for as far as expectations. As long as your implants are intact then you can keep the same implants and just perform the lift. Speak to your plastic surgeon about your options. Feel free to check out some of our before and after photos.

Your breasts seem to be positioned very low on your chest wall. This needs to be corrected in the time of breast lift, by creating a new inframammary fold which will keep breasts and implants in a fixed position. If needed, implants may be preserved when doing lift. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I recommend you consider getting a breast lift. A well planned breast lift can be done with your existing implants in place as long as they are soft and accurately positioned within your breast footprint.

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. It may or may not be possible to keep your implants depending on the size of the implants.

Dear Caring575997, thanks for sharing ypur pictures and concers, breast lift can be perform with implants but it will decided after your in person evaluation so your surgeon and you can decide about your needs and if is necessary to change it or remove it. Breast implants can provide volume and enhance the size of your breasts, but they do not necessarily address sagging or drooping of the breast tissue. A breast pexy or mastopexy can improve the shape and position of your breasts by removing excess skin and raising the base to improve the overall proportion. Whether or not you can get a lift with your existing implants will depend on a variety of factors and your doctors criteria. You do need a breast lift. Some surgeons may require you to get new implants and some may agree to keep the current implants because they are not very old.

You would benefit from a breast left as you have a lot of breast tissue on the lower part of your breast, and you’re missing fullness at the upper pole and contributes to a lack of cleavage. Depending on the lift, you may or may not be able to use your current implants as the lift will affect the size and shape of your breasts. Lastly, as your breasts are naturally slightly lower on your chest, and you have a tendency to lose volume at the top of your breasts, you would benefit from placement. of an internal mash in order to hold the implants in the correct position for a longer period of time.
