Would a breast lift help me achieve perky breasts? 3 previous pregnancies, weight loss, and breast implant removal (photos)

Hello @Katarina94, thank you for your question. You could consider a breast lift and it will for sure enhance the shape and projection of your breast. This procedure will remove excess skin, reposition breast tissue in order to create a better shape and cleavage with the BRALAN (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift Augmentation) technique . The scar can be varied, mostly the inverted T- shaped is used however in my experience of 22 years I have made a modification to improve the extension of the scar being the L shape for minimal scarring and the most adequate result. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.

I guess the answer depends a lot on how you define perky. A lift alone will move the breast higher on your chest and create a more youthful look. However, it will not provide fullness in the upper breast to create the full rounded look that you would only get with an implant. The breast volume will probably change very little, but it will probably fit in a smaller cup bra after the surgery, and it will look smaller (even though it really isn’t) because less vertical breast will be visible when you look in the mirror.

A small amount of tissue is removed during a breast lift, therefore you’ll be about the same size as you are now. Your breasts will just be shaped differently. They’ll be perkier and fuller. Some women find that because of this new shape, they fit into a bra differently and may need to wear a different size for comfort.

Breast lift should be done with addition of breast implants to create more volume and longer lasting result. Yes, a lift would reshape and raise your breasts and remove the excess skin. You do not have to get implants if you don't want time. However, with removing the excess skin, you will have less volume of tissue.
