Breast lift & implant removal small breasts - unnatural looking results?

Question

I am wanting implants removed due to unnatural looking results. I do not want implants again and for this to be my last Surgery. I have had two different options one form my original surgeon who said I do not have enough breast tissue for an uplift after removal abs will just have sagging skin and another from a paid surgeon appointment who said I can have an uplift with anchor lift or be left with droopy breast with sagging skin. Any photo examples of small breast lifts after implant removal?

It is possible to have a breast lift without implants after implant removal, but the amount of lift you can achieve depends on several factors being some of then the amount of breast tissue you have and the specialist surgical technique. In some cases, a breast lift alone may not be enough to achieve your desired result. It is important to keep in mind that every patient is unique and a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast surgery is essential. During the consultation, the surgeon will evaluate your current situation and discuss your desired outcome with you to determine the best course of action. it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You can remove implants and wait to see the final results and later decide on further steps. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Based on this photo, it appears thet you will end up with loose, sagging breast envelope after implant removal. Breast lift will help to improve shape; addition of fat grafts may further improve shape and provide some additional volume. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in breast fat grafting is recommended. Good luck.

Hello, thanks for your question which is challenging. I agree with both surgeons but I think there’s yet another good option. After the implants are being removed and the lift performed, you may have some fat transfer to the breast area to increase the volume. It seems that you have gained some weight after your preop photo. So, some fat taken from your abdomen, thighs and hips may benefit the breast contour as well.. have a nice day! Dr Sigler

To do a lift, there must be adequate breast tissue to support the circulation to your nipple.  An examination is needed to determine this. If it is questionable, the lift should not be done at the time as the removal, and may not be able to be done ever.  If you are an A cup, your tissue may be too thin to support your nipple with a lift. Your skin may be the main source of blood supply. Once the skin is cut around the nipple, that source is gone.

You should ask your consulting surgeon to provide photos of patients after implant removal.  If the surgeon you have consulted does not have them, I suggest you get another opinion.  In your case, a breast lift will mostly move the nipple to a higher position.

When a person has a breast augmentation that significantly increases their breast size, the skin stretches to accommodate the change.  Your photos suggest that, with you breast implants in place, you have C/D cup breast volume with C/D skin volume.  When your implants are removed, your breast volume with return to the A/B range, but your skin volume will not.  The breast lift will reduce your skin volume to match the breast volume inside it.

Hi. I've had patients similar to you and I recommend them to get a lift and fat graft to the breasts. Sometimes after implant removal, you may not even need a lift and may just need fat graft to the breasts to replace some of the volume. Thank you for your question.  If you do choose to have a breast lift I certainly would not recommend an anchor lift.  A simple vertical breast lift with only an incision around the areola and down the front of the breast is all that you require.
My suspicion is that if you simply remove the implants without doing a breast lift will not look very different from the preoperative appearance shown.  You will be surprised how much your skin still can retract after removal of the implants.
Of course I would follow the advice of your own plastic surgeon.  If you were my patient I would remove the implants first and wait 6 months before doing a lift if you felt you needed at that time.
