I had an anchor lift 10 months ago. I have a 285cc, med profile, over muscle, round implant. I wanted under the muscle, teardrop shape, but was talked out of this by my surgeon. I wanted as natural as possible, with more lower pole fullness and nipples that point slightly up. I'm so unhappy. I know they look better than before, but I still can't go braless because my nipples point down. The crease and implant still seem very high. I hate them. Do I have any options?
Answer: Nipple areolar complex revision Thanks for your inquiry and pictures, ask your surgeon about a revision crescent lift to elevate the nipple areolar complex a 1-1.5 cm and the nipple will point more out. This could be done under local in the office.

Answer: Breasts You have a very natural look now, but your nipples could be raised a little more. You do not want them sitting high or they will pop out of bras and bathing suits. Your crease is where your natural fold is and that is where it belongs.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Swerve3, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Dissatisfaction with breasts While I agree your breasts look much better now than pre-op, I see where you would like the breast shape changed and the nipple/areolas elevated higher. This may be achieved with a revision mastopexy (breast lift) where the implants are untouched, but some breast skin is removed and tightened (which may make them a touch more rounded). Best wishes.
