I'm just curious if liposuction and abdominal etching is something that changes with weight fluctuations and pregnancy. I'm 5'11 and 145 pounds but I'm not at my goal weight, should I be close to it when undergoing this surgery and what happens if I continue to lose weight after the procedure? Any insight would be so helpful, thank you!
Answer: Exercising is important when it comes to abdominal etching Hello Maria254, relating to your question you should ideally be close to your ideal body weight before having a liposuction surgery. This surgery can be done at anytime but to maximize the effects and naturalness of the procedure you should be exercising. Photos or videos would have been a great help for me to further explain you the procedure in regards to your own specific condition. Hope this helps, Kind Regards

Answer: Weight fluctuations with abdominal etching liposuction This is a great question. Ideally, you remain at your goal or target weight after surgery, within 5-10lbs. While the fat removed with liposuction will not return after surgery, the remaining/residual fat can change in size after surgery. With either significant weight gain or weight loss, the overall results could change and look different than early after surgery.

Answer: VASER abdominal etching ab etching six-pack abs VASER abs weight loss after VASER ab etching VASER ab etching expert Hello Maria254. Thank you for your question regarding whether you should get liposuction and abdominal etching and does it change with weight. I almost always advise patients to lose as much weight as they can and be at their goal weight before any elective plastic surgery. This would include VASER abdominal etching. Though unlikely, it is possible if you lose weight after your VASER ab etching liposuction that your skin may not contract around your VASER liposuction results. Then you may be left with loose hanging abdominal skin, not a ripped ab six-pack. Therefore, I would suggest you be at your goal weight before, not after, any liposuction and especially the VASER abdominal etching procedure. I hope this helps answer your question about when you should get liposuction and abdominal etching and are the results of abdominal etching affected by further weight loss after the VASER abdominal etching. Good luck!

Answer: Some insight about high definition liposuction and abdominal etching. Hi Maria, 1) Who is a candidate? Not everyone is a candidate for high definition liposuction with abdominal etching. It really depends on how much excess skin and fat a patient has and how severe is their diastasis recti. Diastasis recti is a separation of your abdominal muscles that happens after pregnancy. This makes your abdominal wall loose and all your abdominal contents push through. That diastasis is what is repaired during a tummy tuck. You suture the muscle back together so you tighten up your abdominal wall and "tuck in" all your internal organs. 2) Yes, you should always get to your goal weight before undergoing a body contouring procedure. 3) Yes. It takes 2 to tango. As your surgeon, I will do everything to give you the best result possible so that you are afraid to lose it if you don't take care of it. Protect your investment. Liposuction is fat suction, not skin suction. The skin retracts with time. This is how you can optimize your result. - Diet and exercise religiously. - 1 massage per day for 10 days post-operatively. - Compression garment (Faja) for 8 weeks. - Close follow up with your surgeons so he/she can check your progression.

Answer: Liposuction and Abdominal Etching Thank you for sharing your question. Liposuction and abdominal etching are designed to enhance body contours by removing fat and highlighting natural muscle definition. While the removed fat cells won't return, significant weight fluctuations can affect the remaining fat cells and potentially alter the results. Pregnancy can also change body contours. Ideally, it's best to be near your goal weight before undergoing such procedures to maintain consistency in results. If you continue to lose weight post-surgery, it may subtly change the definition and overall look, but the results should still be favorable. Always consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for tailored advice. Best wishes!
