Will tummy tuck tighten loose skin on buttock, crotch thighs as well?

A tummy tuck primarily targets the abdominal area, addressing excess skin and fat. It may not directly tighten loose skin on the buttocks, crotch, or thighs. Procedures like a lower body lift or thigh lift are more suitable for addressing loose skin in those specific areas. Congratulations on your impressive weight loss! A tummy tuck will address the upper and lower abdomen. An extended tummy tuck may also incorporate loose skin on the hips. If the mons area is full this may be incorporated into a tummy tuck. If your concern includes the buttocks area as well you may want to consider a circumferential tummy tuck/lower body lift. Depending on the laxity of the legs you may consider a thigh lift. It is common after losing significant weight to break the procedures up into stages. Most patients who have had successful, massive weight loss, will need extensive skin surgery to get their body back to looking normal. This usually means an extended or wraparound tummy tuck, sometimes referred to as a body lift. I suggest looking at before and after pictures of other patients, who had successful weight loss to see what their results look like. There are lots of pictures on this website of various people who had different combinations of surgery to give you an idea of what each procedure can, and cannot accomplish. You didn’t include pictures, but look for patients whose bodies have similar body characteristics to your own.
When you finalized your weight loss, you should consider having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. I’m different opinions about how to proceed or what type of operations would be best for you.
Tommy tech is not going to have all that much impact on your lower extremities. The pubic area can generally be lifted, and a body lift can have impact on the upper part of the outer thigh and upper part of the buttocks.
Patients who have extensive skin laxity after weight loss may be candidate for a number of different skin, reducing procedures, addressing skin, laxity of their torso, breast, arms, inner thighs, neck, etc.
Most patients begin by addressing the area that is a biggest concern. For most patients that typically is an extended or wraparound, tummy tuck, a.k.a. body lift, possibly in combination with their procedures.
