I am currently a 36/38 DDD, I'm thinking about getting a Breast Reduction if my insurance approves and if not to save for one. I was told you need a compression bra or high impact sports bra immediately after having surgery. How do you go about choosing what size you need to get. Would you go down one sizer get your normal one? Help?/

Answer: How to choose the right size post operatively Hello, thank you for your question. Usually you will want to go down one size. You don't want anything too tight around the breast incisions but just enough for support. There will be a lot of swelling initially right after surgery so you will have to keep adjusting your bra sizes.
