I’m 33 and interested in a neck lift. I don’t necessarily want to remove any fat, but correct the skin sagging and muscle. Is that possible? And would a neck lift correct jowling?
Answer: Neck You would do well with noninvasive micro-needling with radiofrequency to tighten your neck and lower face. You do not need surgery.

Answer: Neck lift A neck lift with an incision under the chin alone will not fully address the jowl fat compartment. The jowl is best treated with a facelift due to the ability to pull from above the jowl fat compartment. Sometimes this can be liposuctioned at the time of the neck lift through the submental incision but that is not the optimal way to address the jowl in my opinion. Part of a neck lift is removing some fat to contour the neck. It is a multi-layered procedure including potential submandibular gland reduction, digastric muscle shave, removing some deep and/or superficial fat, and possible liposuction. I would see a board-certified (American Board of Plastic Surgery) plastic surgeon with experience in facial procedures.

Answer: Neck lift Based on these photos you seem to be a good candidate for anterior neck lift. Through a short incision underneath the chin it would be possible to shape your muscles and remove jowls. In person or teleconference consultation with a. Pare certified plastic surgeon with expertise in this procedure is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: A FaceTite and MyEllevate FaceTite is a minimally, invasive tightening procedure that can be done under local anesthesia. It is a bipolar technology that is inserted similar to liposuction without incisions other than needle holes. My Ellevate is a suture technique used without incisions that lift the neck and separates the plasma bands that you have. It is especially useful for the younger individual and we have over a 12 year experience with it. A consultation is, of course, necessary to determine your prognosis with it. Examples are on our website.

Answer: Neck lifting An isolated neck lift can correct laxity in the neck, improve the angle between the jaw and the neck (cervicomental angle) and improve jawline definition. This typically involves either incision under the chin, an incision behind the ear into the hairline or both. A neck lift does not address jowling, but in younger patients with mild jowling target liposuction can improve this. For those patients with more significant jowling, a face lift may be needed to adequately address this. Sean Fisher Aesthetic Plastic SurgerySeattle, WA
