Dr Fisher was amazing. I consulted with 4 doctors, and he was easily my favorite. He explained my options in a way nobody else did (even though most recommended similar procedures) & spent a lot of time making sure I had all my questions answered. The day I went home he was available for all my questions and helped calm my fears when I googled too many things and freaked myself out. Post op care was fantastic. My results from my lower body lift are amazing (I still can’t believe this is my body) and my scar is beautiful - very thin, very low and very even. Oh and my belly button! It was in rough shape beforehand (2 laparoscopic surgeries, weight gain & loss, prior piercing). Now it looks like a 16 year olds belly button! No visible scar - it’s perfect. 10 out of 10 - I would recommend Dr Fisher to all my friends
Hands down best surgeon I could have asked for in my mommy makeover journey. My 48 yr old body looks fabulous! He was there through the whole process. I’m 6 months out, feeling great! If you’re looking for a plastic surgeon, he’s it!! Thanks for everything Dr Fisher
I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Fisher. He was a phenomenal surgeon. He had excellent communication and bedside manner. He was patient and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with my results. I highly recommend him and would utilize him again in the future.
There are not enough words to thank Dr. Fisher for forever changing my life! After losing 130 pounds, I was left with a lot of excess skin that I hated. I had a consultation in November with him, we went over what I wanted done and Dr. Fisher explained everything to me in great detail. I had two rounds of surgery, one in January and the second in May. Dr. Fishers bedside manner is amazing, he gave me his personal cell phone number for any questions or concerns I had during my recovery, when I did call I got a response within the hour. He even met me on a Sunday morning to look at an area of concern. My results are amazing and I am so very happy with it! He is truly one of the best doctors I have ever worked with!
They do not get better than Dr. Fisher!! From scheduling with Andrea, to the staff taking pictures, and eventually to the care team in the operating room and the aftercare! Dr. Fisher worked miracles on me and I feel better than I have in 25 years! If you get lucky enough to have this surgeon work on you, you are blessed. He truly is the best and worth traveling to no matter how far. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and the aftercare you have provided!
Dr. Fisher was very knowledgeable and communicated well from the very first appointment. He listed to my concerns and I felt he provided a very personalized approach. He did a beautiful job on my tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation (and removed major capsular contractures), and upper bleth as well as maintained incredible communication with me. I would highly recommend Dr. Sean Fisher!
Dr Fisher is an artist! I am a 47Y old mother of 3 (including a set of full term twins) who recently lost 130 pounds. I wanted a tummy tuck and a breast lift to resolve loose skin and sagging in my breasts and while I expected to look better afterwards, the truth is I look incredible. The work and care that Dr Fisher took in performing my surgeries (including an extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo 360, a breast lift) was extraordinary. His attention to my post op care was so wonderful. He has a great bedside manner (even during those tough standing there naked with the mark up pen moments) and his care and sincere concern for his patient’s health starts with the consult and continues through the post op period. The staff and nurses he works with are also top notch.
My experience with Dr. Fisher has been incredible from the start! Getting a rhinoplasty was the first cosmetic procedure I really wanted to look into, so I was really nervous when I started doing my research. My top priority was finding a doctor that made me feel comfortable, was confident, could answer ALL of my questions, etc …that was Dr. Fisher! I went to a hand full of plastic surgeons in the area and did a few online consults but no one gave me the confidence and trust that I needed to solidify a surgery date like Dr. Fisher. The choice was easy! In my first meeting with Dr Fisher, he really took the time to dive into my goals for the procedure, answering questions and even throwing some rough ideas together for potential results. I didn’t feel rushed in my consultation and I didn’t feel like just another number which was important to me. As surgery day approached, he made himself available to answer more questions (very quick to answer!) and tweaked some potential result photos for what I wanted. Surgery went smoothly! My nerves were shockingly pretty low that day but I credit that to that fact that I trusted my doctor Your experience with Dr. Fisher does not end after surgery. After surgery, he was readily available if anything came up with the healing process. I have done several follow ups and he has really helped me with some efforts to treat my heavy swelling. He cares! Now that I am two months post-op, a lot of my swelling has gone down and I am so happy with the results. What used to be my biggest insecurity is now the thing I like to show off now. Check out my before and after photos It’s a big decision and not one to take lightly.I highly recommend Dr. Fisher for a personalized, effective and positive experience all around. You won’t go wrong!
Dr. Fisher and Andrea have truly been outstanding. Amidst several surgery consultations with surgeons in the area, Dr. Fisher’s approach stood out. From the moment I left his office, I knew he was the perfect choice for me. There was never a sense of haste or pressure; instead, I left feeling thoroughly informed and empowered to make a decision. The pre-operative care was remarkable, but it was the post-operative care that truly astounded me. Dr. Fisher personally reached out to me occasionally to check in, demonstrating his genuine concern for his patients. Andrea’s support was equally commendable. Whenever I reached out to her, she was kind, informative, and responsive. At no point did I feel like just another surgery case for Dr. Fisher or Andrea; rather, I felt like a valued member of their extended family. For anyone seeking honesty, professionalism, and genuine care in their surgical journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr.Fisher. He is not only a skilled surgeon but also a remarkable individual who goes above and beyond to ensure his patient’s well-being.
Fabulous! I highly recommend him. I felt so comfortable from the first consult through my entire process. Extremely happy with my results. He made me feel and look like a brand new woman. I will certainly use him in the future.
Congratulations on your weight loss! The short answer is "it depends". the vertical component is intended to address horizontal laxity of the abdomen, while the traditional tummy tuck incision addressed laxity in the vertical direction. This can be difficult to fully assess without doing a full exam, however it does appear you have a significant amount of laxity in both directions (where a vertical component very well may be beneficial. This is, of course, always a discussion your surgeon should have with you and you can make an informed decision when presented with all the information. While a FDL may give the best overall result, from a laxity standpoint, if you would be more satisfied with some remaining laxity while avoiding the vertical scar- you should discuss this with your doctor. If you have maximized diet/exercise/non-surgical treatments and still are not satisfied with the shape of your tummy, A mini abdominoplasty could address your concerns. This is generally best for thinner patients with mild laxity, higher belly button and minimal/no diastasis. Having had no children and being fit, means it is quite unlikely that a diastasis is present. A mini tummy tuck uses a small incision hidden in the underwear line to address this laxity. It is generally much shorter than a tummy tuck incision and would not require an incision around the belly button. A well trained plastic surgeon can give a definitive answer based on an in-person exam. Sean Fisher, MD Aesthetic Plastic SurgeonSeattle, WA
Every surgeon will have a different protocol before returning to routine/strenuous activity. In my practice, I require that patients take 2 weeks off of from the gym/avoid heavy lifting to allow appropriate healing and to decrease the risk of bleeding after surgery. It appears that you have essentially complete violation of the natural fold of your right breast. whether mesh is used or not, the fold will need to be reconstructed. Many surgeons will likely encourage you to consider using a mesh product to further reinforce this fold, especially with implants in place. When I discuss mesh with patients, especially those patients who have had multiple surgeries and are unhappy with their results, I use the analogy of an insurance policy. Compared to the cost of another revision surgery, mesh is a cheap insurance policy to decrease the risk of recurrent issues. I then usually have full discussion about the use of ADM vs absorbable mesh like galaflex and their associated cost so that patients can make an informed decision on the costs and risks of a final surgical plan. Free nipple grafts are not analogous to maintaining the nipple on native breast tissue. This is the case in multiple regards- firstly, you are unlikely to have any sensation to FNGs if this is done. If you do have any resulting sensation it will be extremely muted compared to your normal baseline sensation. You have already mentioned that you are not interested in breast feeding, however following FNG they would also lose any dynamic change (with temperature, stimulation etc). This may or may not be a bother to patients, everyone is different. FNGs also have a tendency to flatten out when compared to a breast reduction where the nipple is preserved on native breast tissue. Finally, any skin graft runs the risk of not adhering fully with partial nipple loss following FNG. This can be true with either FNG or in aggressive breast reductions where we are trying to take off as much breast tissue as possible while preserving some tissue to supply the nipple. In most instances, free nipple grafting is reserved as a "last resort"- if there is considerable concern about blood flow either due to the degree of nipple elevation needed or due to breast tissue being removed. Make sure that you have a fully informed discussion with your surgeon about the differences between these options as you consider surgery. Sean Fisher, MD Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon Seattle, WA
