Hi Brooke. It looks like you would benefit from a tear trough injection. I find that cannulas are the most straightforward way to inject. A cheek injection will not help with the deep depression in the tear trough area. Get a second opinion from an expert injector!Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on what can be seen it appears that you would benefit from a combination of filler in the cheek and under the eyes. If you want, you can start with cheek filler and then evaluate before moving to the area under your eyes. Please consult with your physician to determine the best course of action. Good luck!
I would fill your tear troughs before your cheeks. If you fill your cheeks first you will still need filler to the tear troughs to improve the loss of volume you have there. I would also consider Botox to the crow's feet. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician injector. Best wishes.
Thanks for the question.Cheek fillers would only add volume to your cheeks but would not affect the line between your eyelid and cheek. I would suggest contacting an experienced plastic surgeon for a second opinion.Good luckDr Chris Macdonald
If you are concerned with your lower eyelids, then I would inject your tear troughs. You have full cheeks already. Filling the lower lids can make you look younger and less tired. Botox is another add on that will help prevent crows feet and forehead wrinkles. Make sure you seek a consultation from a Board Certified Dermatologist for filler and botox.
I agree that you are best off having your tear trough injected . This only requires a very small amount of filler such as Restylane.
It's hard to tell by pictures alone but you may need a little filler in both areas for volume loss. As we get older we lose volume in both the tear trough and the cheeks. It also looks like you may benefit from botox in the crows feet to enhance your results of the filler as well.
I would start by filling the tear trough with a light filler. If needed, lifting the cheeks could be added after. Good luck.
It looks like based on your photos you could get either cheek or tear trough fillers. You could even get both for maximum effect I am a huge fan of tear trough fillers as they make a big difference but very natural
Hi brooke12x, The part of your face that is visible in the photo does not need fillers. Definitely, Restylane Refyne, the filler that produces the least swelling and is thin in consistency will help replace volume in the undereye hollows. If dark areas persist, you can try lasers. Botox can be used as well. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
There is no issue in treating patients with hyper or hypothyroidism with cosmetic injectable dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, etc. It would be entirely safe in your scenario. Most importantly, get your injection from a highly trained and experienced physician injector such as a ...
Your photographs show early signs of ageing, particularly in your skin texture. I would start with topical medications for your skin first, such as Obagi or Dermesse (there are others also). I would seek the one-on-one examination and discussion you can get from a boarded plastic...
Thanks for your question. It is quite possible that the cause of this is viral, the herpes simplex or "cold sore" virus. Someone's first outbreak with this virus often looks like this, multiple lesions, pronounced swelling, oozing (whereas future outbreaks may look more 'traditional' with...
