I’m on the final day of my peel and I can definitely see a difference. This is my first peel and my skin is brighter. The good thing about this peel is you can feel it working. The negative, for me, is that I have oily skin. So instead of the dead skin sloughing off, it kinda just sits on my face until I wash it. While washing my face, I can see the residue fall off. I’m definitely going to do another peel. My dermatologist was kind and explained everything she was doing while applying the peel. The VI Peel packet is helpful although the sunscreen is not for dark skin. It leaves a white residue which is common for some sunscreens. I didn’t like the way my skin looked when I applied it but dealt with it since it was my first time. Next round, I’ll ask if I can use my own sunscreen. The VI Peel app is a must. It’s extremely convenient especially if you lose the instructions that come in your post-peel packet. Overall, I recommend the VI Peel. For my peelers with darker skin, ask if you can use your own sunscreen if possible.
The office was easy to find, I walked in I was immediately greeted, and the office was vibrant and welcoming! the Check in took less than 5 min, as soon as I was done, I was checked in. I was asked in details and was allowed to explain the entire reason why I was coming, Dr. Rhee came in with a huge smile and address each of my skin concern whether it was small or large, I had enlarged pores, indented skin scarring, discoloration, and she made a plan, and as a patient I followed up every visit, and follow the instructions, I made sure to be consistent, and now after 3 months, no breakouts, had 2 vi peels, 3 microneedling treatment, and my skin looks flawless, Perfect for vacation, and no need to wear makeup as much! I can't thank her enough! will be a long time patient, shes also very funny, she made me laugh 3 times during the visit!
The instructions said that I should have stopped peeling after 7th day and should go to my normal routine. However, I’m still peeling and I don’t see any peeling around my cheeks. Also I don’t see much difference with new and old skin.
Thanks for your question! Many women your age begin a skin care regimen with a Cosmetic Dermatologist or Physician. You may consider Botox for your forehead to prevent further worsening of the line. Microneedling with PRP, Chemical Peels, and Lasers are great for skin aging as well!
You should be fine to have a facial a couple of days after fillers. I recommend that you let your esthetician know that you recently had fillers.
It is common for many men to experience hair loss at your age. Male pattern baldness comes down to genetics. There are many treatments for hair loss and it is best to start treating when you first notice the hair loss. Eating well, using natural and using the correct products for you can help maintain a fuller, thicker head of hair. I would recommend seeing a Dermatologist or Physician who has experience treating male pattern baldness.
I think the most important thing is experience with injecting this area. Try to find a physician or PA that has a proven track record for injecting Botox to the DAO as there are several risk factors involved.
I would recommend that you try the VI Peel for your skin. The VI Peel is a virtually painless but intense peel that is great for all skin types. It will address several concerns such as aging, pigmentation, and acne. Seek out a dermatologist that is experienced in this type of peel and one that may also offer microneedling which would enhance the results even more.
