Is standing for long periods after the BBL dangerous?

If you are not super tired, then it is fine.  It is better to be mobile as you know than just being inactive.  By two weeks or so, you should be ok to go back to most activities. Always best to check with your doctor.

Hi and thanks for your question.  I encourage my patients to stand after the procedure as quickly as possible.  In fact, the more of normal life you engage in, the more normal you will feel.  If you mobilize, your risk of DVT will in fact be reduced.  Yes, you can have some edema but the garments should help with that.Hope this helps and best of luck with your procedure and recovery!
