Is a stay at a recovery house required for 10 days BBL post-op or can I stay alone in a hotel?

When I travel to Miami for my BBL surgery, I believe I need to stay for 10 days post op. If I travel alone, could I get away with 3 days at a recovery house and the rest of my stay in a hotel by myself? I am trying to keep costs down since I am travelling, but also want to stay safe!

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is very difficult to give any advice without photos or more information like your weight for example, I would recommend you to have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Don’t settle for less!

A BBL would only address shape and volume but will not fix cellulite which is an interaction between the skin and underlying fat.  For cellulite, I'd suggest Cellfina which could be done after your BBL.

I appreciate your question.It takes 3-6 months to see final results from liposuction and swelling to subside.  Keep wearing your compression garment and follow your surgeon's post op instructions for optimal results. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam....
