Can Botox fix my downturned eyes? (Photos)

Question

I want the outer corners of my eyes to be upturned and higher like a cat eye look. Please give me advice. I want to know the best options for me. Using Botox and fillers preferably

Only surgery can make the lower eyelids slant more upwards (or creative makeup). Botox will not work at all. See following video for information on procedure to make eyes more almond shaped. Consultation is necessary.

The overall shape and angle of the eye is very difficult to change, even with surgery. Any drastic attempts to do so will likely result in an unnatural appearance. Botox can be used to affect the position of the brow, but not the shape of the eye. Fillers can be used to alter the shape of the structures around the eye, but again, won't really affect the shape or angle of the eye.

We commonly use Botox/Dysport treatment to relax lateral canthal lines (i.e. crow's feet) and to open up the eyes. However, it is not used to upturn the corners of the eyes. I suspect only plastic surgery would be able to accomplish what you are looking for. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a plastic/oculoplastic surgeon. Honestly, I think you have pretty eyes and I would not try to alter them.

If you want the outer corners of your eyes to be upturned and higher like a "cat eye look" then only surgery will achieve that result. A consultation with an Oculoplastic surgeon, specializing in eyelids is advised to give you your best options.

It is possible to gently elevate the outer corner of your eye with small amount of filler placed in precisely at one point. This method was described around 2012 or 2013 by French Plastic Surgeon. Although it works almost every time it is not a permanent fix. I think you will be well served if you consult your Plastic Surgeon who will provide you with suggestions. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. Botox and filler can make a difference with volume deficiencies and dynamic wrinkles around the eye but really can't be used to change the angle of the corners. What you want may not be achievable, but an in person consultation with an Oculoplastic surgeon would be best to examine you and get a better idea of your goals and provide options.

I recommend you seek a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon so they can discuss with you what treatment options are available to help improve the appearance of your eyes. We typically use Botox to not only improve crow's feet lines but also to help open the eyes and make them look less tired.
