I want an effective and long lasting solution wether laser or Botox or some other injection. I don't want to have jaw shaving surgery since it's risky i am scared and heals slow. How much would it cost for both side of my jaw?
Answer: Recommended treatment for slimming the jawline Botox is a great option to help slim the jawline and I do it all the time for my patients. Results typically last 3-4 months and then it is recommended to receive another treatment. Visit a board certified dermatologist for formal consultation to ensure you’re getting the best recommendation of treatment that’s specific to you!

Answer: Botox: V shape Dear D3D4, Thank you for your question. There are a variety of non-surgical treatment options to help you achieve the more feminine V-shaped face you are seeking. Neurotoxins such as Botox can help reduce the wrinkle lines in the upper third of your face and make the appearance of your eyes appear more youthful as well as can be injected in your masseter muscles to help narrow the lower third of your face. Filler injections can be performed to augment the volume in your cheeks and thus promote a V-shaped face. If you have skin laxity issues in the lower third of your face, there are both surgical and non-surgical treatments for improving this problem. Unfortunately it is difficult to make an assessment and recommendations based on photographs alone. I recommend you seek a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who can perform a thorough exam and discuss with you the best treatment options to meet your goals.

Answer: Botox in masseter Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. If you have masseteric hypertrophy, then botox injections into the masseter can help. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
