See attached images, and please disregard zit. :) Also, what do your lips look like when it wears off, stretched out or odd in anyway?
Answer: Juvederm Half of a syringe is a conservative treatment amount, so you will see some increase in fullness but it won't be significant. Be aware that swelling and bruising are common with lip injections so it can take up to two weeks to see your final result. You may take a Tylenol before the procedure for pain, but some offices offer numbing creams or other pain reducers. It's best to check with your injector to see what is offered there. The effect of the product will wear off gradually and your lips will return to their current state.

Answer: Juvederm and Smiling 1/2 syringe of Juvederm will give you a very conservative lip augmentation. It won't affect your smile at all . Your lips will return to the pre injection state once the filler is gone . Best of luck

Answer: Lip augmentation Results with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Implants, Fat Juvederm won't negatively impact your smile, but will make your lips look fuller. Cannulas and topical anesthetic will help reduce pain during injections. After the filler resolves, your lip shape will return to normal. Implants or fat are alternatives I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Filler in lips A bit of filler in your lips will make them appear fuller which will help to cover some of your teeth but it won't affect your smile. You have a gorgeous smile so it doesn't need any help. Once the filler wears off, the lips returns to their pre-injection size. Make sure to see an experienced injector.

Answer: Juvederm for "gummy smile" Your lips look nicely volumized. Adding more volume will not help cover your gummy smile. However if you desire larger lips, when Juvederm wears off, the natural elasticity of the lips will not be effected and there will be no long term issue with skin quality. Some patients who are distressed by a gummy smile can have injected, a carefully measured amount of Botox in strategically placed locations near the upper lip to slightly weaken it, hence less of a gummy smile and less lip elevation when smiling. If too much is injected the lip becomes temporarily too lax, a very distressing complication. The small amount injected will likely only last several months. Many physicians will not wish to do this as a stand alone procedure given the short longevity and possible downsides. See only a specialist to consider this treatment.
