Have my lip fillers gone wrong? (Photos)

Lips are notorious for bruising. To have the bruising heal faster i would avoid taking any advil, alcohol or omegas as those are blood thinners. Yhe lower lip looks swollen creating that bubble look. I would wait two weeks to see how it looks like and would go see your health care provider if those bumps persist. 

Thank you for your question. Bruising and swelling in the lips after injectables can be common so I suggest that you follow the recovery instructions provided by your board certified facial plastic surgeon. Please remain patient as bruising and swelling tends to subside after a couple weeks.

Anytime an injectable filler is used to enhance areas of the face bruising and swelling can occur.  The lips tend to bruise and swell more than any other area and can take up to 2 weeks to fully resolve.  I suggest waiting 2 weeks until your lips have settled to schedule a follow-up visit with your board certified plastic surgeon. Bruising and swelling are very common with lip injections and typically unrelated to the product used. The trauma is often due to the needle. Both bruising and swelling may take a couple weeks to resolve. if you are concerned or experience a new onset of pain, bursting of the bubbles, fever or discolouration to the surrounding skin, please follow up with your injector.
