I've had a rhinoplasty about a year ago and I'm unhappy with the way my nose looks in photos. I have these harsh dorsal aesthetic lines and I wish my nose were narrower. What would be done to correct this in a revision rhinoplasty?
Answer: Revision rhinoplasty Hello! It is impossible to give specific advice without knowing what was done and seeing photos. Irregularities of bone or cartilage can occur after rhinoplasty and can be masked with subcision, filler injection or revision with temporalis or cartilage grafting to disguise. Truly wide nasal bones require osteotomies, but there are limits to how narrow the nasal pyramid can be and still support adequate function. I recommend a consultation with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to review your requests, evaluate your nose and make recommendations based on your desires. Good luck and stay safe!

Answer: Dorsal lines It is possible to reduce the dorsal lines but it is important to weigh the risks and benefits of revision surgery. The risks are higher in revision surgery and it can lead prolonged swelling and healing time. So, before you proceed with the revision surgery carefully examine the possible risks of complications. Answer: How to correct wide harsh dorsal aesthetic lines in revision rhinoplasty Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial photographs from all angles, a copy of the operative report, and an in-person examination to make a determination about how best to proceed. Revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than a primary rhinoplasty due to the fact there Have been previous alterations to the normal anatomy and scar tissue present.
