Hello! I had a breast augmentation and received 330cc natrelle moderate implants. I was hoping for a small C, but now measure a 30DD. I think I have a nice result but feel like I look top heavy and wide. I know I had some asymmetry prior, but my left breast has much more “side boob” to it and it looks so obvious in clothes compared to my right. My question is, if I were to downsize, would the side boob problem look better? Should I just be happy with my result? I just feel wide and matronly.
Answer: Redo breasts augmentation Dear Kali, Thanks for posting your before and after pictures and sorry for your less than optimal outcome. From observing your pictures , the problems that I see with your surgery and their corrective measures are as follows: 1. Wide cleavage. That can be corrected by by performing medial capsule and muscle dissection. That will give you a much nicer cleavage. The best incision approach to achieve it is via sub areola incision that will allow for easy dissection, unlike the sub mammary incision that is too far from the cleavage area. 2. Droopiness due to high sub mammary crease.. Before surgery you were perky, so either you developed capsule contracture or your surgeon did not lower your sub mammary crease sufficiently. In any event , lowering the sub mammary crease from within the pocket will correct the problem and give you a nice perky look. 3. Upper pole unnatural fullness and cut off that create the impression of fake boobs. Upper capsulotomy (cutting the pocket scar) will give you a nice slope with a very natural look. 4. All in all, the inferior, medial and superior capsulotomy will expand your pockets, which will create the breasts size that you were looking for. Also they will be soft and very natural looking. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking. Best of luck, Dr Widder widderplasticsurgery.com

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Kali526, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Breast issues Wow. Lots going on here. First, you are not a DD Second, your implants are too high with your nipples not centrally located (implants should be lowered). If you desire smaller implants, no issues.
