How do I tell if my saline implant under muscle has popped or moved?

Hi. If your implant is leaking, it would get much smaller and flatter very quickly. It is pretty obvious so you would certainly see the difference. If you have any questions or concerns about this or other movement of your implants, it would be best to make an appointment with your surgeon so he/she can better evaluate you in person. If a saline implant deflates, the saline is absorbed into the body and the breast gets smaller. If there are other types of changes you are concerned about, see you plastic surgeon for specific advice.

If a saline implant leaks it goes flat pretty quickly and is pretty obvious. If you’re not sure have your surgeon check it out.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

If your shape has changed, then your pockets may have stretched. If you are happy, then enjoy your saline implants.

If your saline breast implant leaks or 'pop', you will know it within two days. The implants slowly leak out and you get a "flat tire".
You asked if the implant moved or the pocket changed. This would be apparent if there was a sudden change in the look of one breast.
A physical exam would answer these questions.
