I got my implants deflated and am scheduled for a lift with implants. I'm 5'7, 145lbs, and chose 380 moderate profile mentor gummy implants. I'm going for a natural look this time around but I still want you to be able to tell I have boobs. Is this a common size implant? Will it look too small on me?
Answer: Is 380cc too small? There is a large subjective component to the ideal implant for a given individual. The desired volume and shape for one person may be very different for someone else. Sizing therefore is a complex process done under the guidance of your surgeon. If you are unsure you should revisit your goals and implant choice with your surgeon.

Answer: Implant sizing Selecting an implant size is a process that should be done between a surgeon and the patient based on your goals and measurements. The size you are considering combined with a lift will increase you multiple cup sizes. Often surgeons have sample implants available that you can "try on" to give you an idea of how you may look after surgery.

Answer: Bellesoma Method Unfortunately, you have not told us your bra size. If you are size 32 or 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. If you are size 36 or 38, each 200 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. The lift technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Implant size Dear Evelasq9, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Implants You may need a lift for the breast that is sagging more, but 350 to 380 will probably look nice. I am not a fan of the gummy implants because of the hardness and increased risks, especially sagging. I prefer the smooth round implants placed behind the muscle for better coverage, more upper breast fullness, and better support over time.
