I had a breast augmentation in July 2021 through my bellybutton. The right side was noticeably smaller. So In Aug the dr decided to replace the implants. This time he went underneath my breast. While I like them, i don't love them like I had hoped. I have always thought the right side was smaller and droopier. I recently got a letter in the mail saying my saline implants have been recalled. I spoke to the nurse and she said to come in, but it's a long driveAny advice is helpful.
Answer: What to know about recalled implants The textured implants from Allergan were voluntarily withdrawn from the market because of the potential association with ALCL. The recall does not mean that you have to have the implants removed. I definitely see some asymmetry and the implants appear to be above the muscle. You should really have an in person evaluation to understand all of your options.

Answer: Breast augmentation In order to improve the symmetry you will need to enlarge or replace the smaller breast. It also appears you would benefit from a lift to improve shape and overall aesthetics of the breasts. See a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation to learn more.

Answer: Implants First, you do not have to replace your implants. The company has noted that the deflation rate was a little higher for a specific batch of implants. Second, the right breast does look a little smaller so you might choose to have more added or a new implant. Third, you can choose to replace both if you want.
