My surgery was performed July 2021. From the start it was obvious that the breast Implants were placed asymmetrically but over time got worse and worse. I know something has to be done but I’d like to know what and if I’ll have the same issue in the future. I have 515 Moderna silicone implants.

You may just need a small revision on the more ptotic side to close the pocket inferiorly and push the implant up.

Hello and thank you for your question. I agree with others that without knowing your preoperative anatomy (including preexisting asymmtery) and exactly what was done in the operating room and performing a physical examination it is difficult to offer clear advice. If you have lost definition of your breast crease on the left breast causing bottoming out then you would need to have that breast crease reconstructed to raise that implant and define the crease there. You have one implant higher than the other. Pretty simple to lower the high implant. Much simpler than trying to raise the low implant

From your photo it appears one of your breast implants has bottomed out.  This often occurs when implants are too big and heavy for the breast.  The correction is surgical.  I encourage you to consider smaller implants to avoid this happening in the future.

On one side, you large heavy implant is sagging and bottoming out from the weight. If you choose to have surgery, go smaller so your tissue can support the weight of the implants.

The problem you have is called bottoming out. It’s corrected by going in and repairing the inframammary fold with sutures and sometimes also adding some mesh like Galaflex. Your breasts are asymmetric in shape because your left breast has bottomed out. What you need is a revision of your left lower breast pole to tighten the lower breast pole and correct the bottoming out .This will result in pushing up of your breast mound and improved nipple and areola positioning.
