I think you can save your money or take a loan. Most offices offer Care Credit or Alpheon finance or both. It's a loan and so you'll be paying it back and the loan status may be based on your credit score.

Most surgeons offer financing options through a third party. In Canada, companies like Credit Medical and Crelogix provide financing with low monthly payments in the hundreds of dollars. Each financing company has its own terms, and this can be discussed after you’ve met with your surgeon to determine whether a tummy tuck is suitable for you.

Hello and thank you for your question.   Many surgeons offices offer finance options such as CareCredit, which is an interest free loan for qualified patients.  If you are an appropriate candidate for a tummy tuck, this can be done through a low and short
incision, all completely below the bikini line. 
The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on
the exterior.   Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. 
Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of
real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate
their results.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are
comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified
board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

As mentioned by the other responders, several financing options are available such as CareCredit which is popular in our area. CareCredit can be used for other medical and dental expenses as well. There are various options within CareCredit and the rate varies based on the option.  Also, the office is charged a fee based on what the patient chooses so some options may not be taken by the office.Therefore, it is best to talk to someone ahead of time at the practice you are considering to see which companies and options are accepted by their practice.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  There are a number of reputable financing companies that will allow you the opportunity to spread payments for a tummy tuck over multiple years if needed.  Two of the most commonly used for cosmetic surgery are CareCredit and Alphaeon.  Both require you to submit an application with a desired credit line that you can borrow against.  If you satisfy their credit requirements you can then discuss payment with your surgeon's office.  Hope this helps.

If you do not wish to use cash or a credit card, then financing is a very popular alternate way to pay for your surgery.  Our office mostly works with Alphaeon and CareCredit.  These finance companies will approve you for a loan based on your credit history.  Sometimes it is possible to have someone finance the loan for you.

In our practice, we use Care Credit as well as other companies; they have been used by our patients with no problems.  They do have different rates so please make sure you get all of the information you need prior to signing up with any financing company.Although I understand your desire to have the procedure performed as soon as possible, it is always in patients' best interest to achieve a certain degree of financial stability prior to undergoing elective surgery of any type. Patients should also keep in mind that additional surgery may be necessary in the short or long term, following the primary procedure that is being performed; this additional surgery may be associated out-of-pocket expenses. Again, best to achieve a physical, emotional, psychosocial, and financial “stable state” prior to considering elective plastic surgery.
