I had bodytite and lipo on my my thighs in Feb 2023. I was hopeful but also doubtful I would have good results on tightening the skin on my thighs. My results are amazing and I'm thrilled. I'm 3 months post procedure and my legs are still improving. I'll be wearing shorts this summer for the first time in 20 years. Thank you Dr Contogiannis!
I had a great experience with Dr. C. I put off having the surgery for years and just dealt with neck and back pain. I recently followed through and I am very pleased and satisfied. Also went to Moses Cone Surgery Center and the staff was gentle and kind
Dr. C is by far the most caring and kind surgeon that I know. I have been trying to get a reduction for over 20 years and she was the one who was able to get me approved. Her work ethic is amazing! She is dedicated and determined to get the job accomplished.
I have been researching breast augmentations and reading ppls stories for 5 years now after pregnancy and breastfeeding. I had my first consultation in 2019 but didn’t really like that dr. & I was still really nervous about it all. This week I had my consultation with Dr. Contogiannis and her & her staff were amazing! She is extremely thorough with information, I literally felt like they were my friends. I was there for 2.5 hours talking and learning. She really made me feel at ease about it all. I was praying I didn’t have to get a lift of course but I have phase 1 sagging & mild tubular from pregnancy. I was an A cup and went up to a D cup while pregnant. Now I’m a deflated full B. My goal to be a perky full C or small D. I want silicone implants, I need the Lollipop incision. I’m really torn about over or under the muscle. I can’t seem to find anyone who has gone over the muscle to ask how they feel about it? I’m also curious about how others handled the pain after surgery? I have heard about numbing medicine that is time released in the muscles, pain pumps & Oral pain medication of course. Pain meds and anesthesia make me very nauseated and sick so the dr said I’d get a patch behind my ear to help & a pain medication that’s better suited for me. She also does the numbing meds in the muscles. I’m considering getting a hotel room near the dr even though it’s only 30mins away just so I can really rest for a cpl of days since I have 3 kids at home & 4 animals. I think it may help. I’m hoping to schedule my surgery by March or April. I am open to suggestions, comments, or support! Thank you! Updated on 15 Feb 2021: Hi! I would like to hear from others with subglandular implants. Do you like them? Any issues? I’ve only read a few stories with subglandular placement. After a lot of researching most drs say either placement is fine but then some only do one or the other. I really want to do subglandular but love to hear others stories:) I’m hoping to book my surgery soon for April! thank you! Updated on 3 Mar 2021: I have saw stories & before & after a similar to mine without a lift but I have had 3 consultations all saying I need a lift. I’m struggling with the thought of all the cuts/scars. I feel like I would have already possibly had the surgery if I have a regular breast augmentation. Would love to hear your story :) Updated on 1 May 2023: I ended up getting a donut lift with 400cc silicone implant right/ 425cc left. Surgery was a breeze. I did wake up very sick from anesthesia. Took it very easy for a week. Tried to take it easy week 2. Back to moderate work week 3, I own a cleaning business. By week 4 I was back to working fully. My left nipple is still mostly numb. Right nipple has been hypersensitive since week 3. Praying it stops soon, anything touching the center doesn’t feel good. Otherwise no complaints. They are still moving into place, hoping they even up a bit more but I’m not sure. My right breast was larger, my nipples weren’t even w or the same size to begin with. So they look way better now, I knew “perfect” may not happen going into this. Overall I’m happy:) below are some pics throughout this journey. I’ve been bloated since the day of surgery! I feel like my stomach is never going to be normal again.. Updated on 7 May 2023: 6 weeks post op. Started scar strips last night. Left nipple is still numb. Right nipple is still hypersensitive. Implants are dropping nicely & looking much more even. :) Next post op appointment is next month. Updated on 19 May 2023: My right nipple is still hypersensitive, plus doesn’t like the scar tape. Idk if I’ll be able to use it anymore. It’s like a shiny burn where it was. This nipple has flattened out a lot. My left nipple is still numb & raised. I really wish it would lay down & look normal again. Anyone else still raised at this point? Otherwise my breasts themselves are pretty good. They’ve dropped & are getting softer. Little pains here and there but nothing crazy. Updated on 1 Jun 2023: Every day is a little better! My right nipple is still hypersensitive but not as bad. Left nipple still mostly numb. The right breast is still a tad lower than the right. But I expected this since it was much worse than the left before surgery. & I only did the donut lift. Had I did anchor I’m sure they would match. But It’s not nearly as noticeable as before. I’m so happy I did it! Today was my first day not in a sports bra or sleep bra!! Updated on 1 Jun 2023: Before & now pic! @ 9.5 weeks. (Opposite sides tho as one is a selfie in mirror(after) & one my husband took(before)) I can’t wait to them at the 3 month mark, since that’s supposed to be a big healed point :) Updated on 1 Jun 2023: Before & now pic! @ 9.5 weeks. (Opposite sides tho as one is a selfie in mirror(after) & one my husband took(before)) I can’t wait to them at the 3 month mark, since that’s supposed to be a big healed point :) Updated on 17 Jul 2023: I’m happy with the size. They are definitely settled now. Butttt I am soooo tired of my right nipple hurting!! I can’t even enjoy a supportive or cute bra, bathing suit, lingerie…nothing. I basically wear a comfy sleep bra 24/7. I really hope a change comes soon bc of this is forever I’m going to greatly regret doing this. Left nipple is still numb & not laid flat. I feel like it’ll never lay normal until it has feeling again & I hope it does. Any words of encouragement would be nice. :/ Updated on 26 Oct 2023: I’m so happy with my size! I’m 34D or large in sports bras. Left nipple is still numb & doesn’t lay flat like the right one. Right nipple is still hypersensitive some days. Overall I’m happy, Hoping the left nipple will lay flat soon- it makes it appear smaller than the right nipple. The right one didn’t lay down until It got full feeling back. Time will tell! So happy they don’t look like they did before.
I felt comfortable from the first meeting. Dr C's attention to detail and information on options showed the depth of her knowledge. I am satisfied with the excellent results!!! Thank you for everything you have done
My face was dominated by huge bags under my eyes that nothing could help, leading me to interview the top 5 best-rated area cosmetic surgeons. Although all were acceptable, Dr. C exceeded her colleagues in focus, energy and clear answers. The surgery went perfectly. I had NO bruising, almost no pain, and very little swelling under my eyes (just red)! I look entirely different - dramatically rested and younger. I couldn't be happier about the eye bag surgery. (Her rate was competitive with the other surgeons I consulted.)
I Love boobies! I think they are the most feminine and sexy thing a girl can have. But I watched every other girl i knew blossom from their boyish pre-pubescent figures while nothing seemed to happen to me. After 3 breastfed babes, they barely went from an AA cup, to an A. So after 15 years of wanting to my girls done, its finally happening and I FINALLY have the funds! I am a 26 year old, 5 ft tall, 125-130 pound mother of 3 nursed littles. I barely fill a 34 A. I Had my consultation and will be getting between 425-475 cc, mentor, HP, unders with and under the breast incision. My Dr will decide which will be the absolute best when shes in the operating room. Ive had my consultation and my pricing. We however are in the middle of buying a house and moving SO I'm waiting to set me pre op appointment until Jan of 2018. I cannot WAIT to get them done!!!! Wish me luck! Updated on 3 Jan 2018: Im a 26 year old mom of 3 breastfed babies. I am 5 foot tall and around 130 lbs. Im a 34a/b depending on the brand. I went with 550 in the smaller breast and 500 in the larger and SHOULD be a DD or even a DDD by the time that they finish their drop and fluff. Ive always wanted large breasts but i never got them. After putting on between 15 and 20 lbs i could almost fill out a b LOL! The first day I felt like crap. I seriously regretted my choice the entire time i was awake. Everything between my shoulders and my belly button hurt and both of my upper arms. Even though i had shots where it numbs the breasts for a few days After the first day ( which seemed like it was NEVER going to end), it got a lot better. Day 2-4 I got more mobility and less pain gradually over the days, and stopped taking the prescription pain medications Today is day 5 and i have almost no pain what so ever. there are occasional sharp pains and the nerves shooting coming back to life. I shouldnt be lifting my 16 month old but i can and its not painful.. its weird for sure since there are boobs there now! Updated on 18 May 2018: These girls just kept fluffing! Im now a 34 DDD!! They feel and look so real and natural and i still love the heck out of them. I wish i would have done a lift since i had nursed 3 babies. I wanted a little more of a fake and perky look as opposed to natural but i am happy with them either way. i have no feeling in a good 2/3 of my keft breast that has the 550 and minor feeling in the right with the 500. I didnt think about them not having feeling but i still wouldnt change them for the world
I had a consultation this week, she is very welcoming. I felt like I've known her a while. She is veey knowledgeable and takes her time to explain every step of the surgery. I really appreciate her consultation. She has set the bar for the other surgeons in our area.
This entire process was nerve wrecking and a great anticipation! Dr. C and her assistants continually put me at ease even when I was on edge about the smallest things. The immediate responsive and the awesome job that was done on my breast is only a few reasons I recommend her. She did a great job. ????
Rennasamce Center for Plastic Surgery,
Thank you for your question. In general it can be very stressful for patients to undergo revisions of a cosmetic surgery. It would be helpful to look at pre-operative photographs to see if there was skin laxity and sagging of these contours before the BBL. Also more photos but most importantly a physical exam by a board certified Plastic surgeon is important to be able to better judge the soft tissue fullness and contours to decide what might be the most appropriate treatment. Sometimes there are limits as to what a surgical procedure alone can accomplish and sagging tissues may not always be corrected by filling the tissues with microfat grafting, rather other surgical procedures such as a lift may be necessary. I would not recommend a non-surgical treatment such as CoolSculpting because it will not provide skin tightening, may compromise the fat grafting that was performed to give you the fullness you want and placement of the applicator would be difficult. If you are healed enough from the fat grafting procedures, a possible consideration may be to use non-surgical muscle toning procedures to tighten your muscles and possibly improve the sagging, but it likely is a long shot. Overall, you will likely need a surgical procedure to correct it. Talk to your surgeon again with an open mind as this sometimes happens. If you do not feel comfortable with your original surgeon, then consult another Plastic Surgeon.
Thanks for your question Leslie. First of all, congratulations on your weight loss! As you have seen, weight loss can affect your breasts significantly. If you are still in the process of losing weight, I would reach my goal weight before having surgery to be sure that more weight loss will not affect your final result. From the limited photos that you provided, it looks like your nipple-areolar complexes, (NACs), are above the inframammary crease but there does appear to be some differences in the skin envelope of the breasts that may affect the final appearance. The breast augmentation will restore the volume you have lost in the breasts and since the NACs are above the inframammary crease and you might be able to have an augmentation alone. But a lift can help provide better symmetry between the breasts when the skin envelopes are different and sometimes is needed to help position your implants to restore volume better in the upper poles of the breasts. There are different types of lifts based on your measurements and anatomy that result in different types of scars as well. Please schedule a consultation with an ABPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to examine you in person and give you the best recommendation. I hope this was helpful. Thank you for this question. It is sometimes difficult for patients to work through insurance companies because when patients call them, they will frequently tell patients that the procedure is covered if it is medically necessary so try and this can be misleading. Unfortunately in this situation, since you are not having a functional issue or congenital defect such as Poland's syndrome, the difference is viewed as cosmetic in nature and usually is not covered by insurance. I can understand that this can affect you emotionally. Perhaps the asymmetry can be easily corrected with Breast Augmentation and/or Breast Augmentation with a Breast Lift if necessary. I would advise scheduling a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon so you can see what appropriate options are for you. I hope this has helped you.
It is never advised to have someone step on your back which will put that much pressure on your implants. If padded underneath the surface you're laying on they may not rupture, but no guarantees. I strongly urge you not to do this.
As long as you are in good health, you can undergo any cosmetic procedure. As a pre op screen, you should perform blood tests and EKG. This is standard for anyone over 50 years of age. Regarding your breasts, you have to be examined to determine how much breast tissue you have to evaluate if you need a lift with any implants.
