will i be cleared for bbl/lipo if my MCH level is 25.9 but all my other labs are in normal ranges?

You should ask this question of the board certified PS who ordered the lab work.  MCH is used primarily to help determine if someone has iron deficiency anemia. He will have to determine if all of your lab work meets the criteria for a healthy candidate for a BBL.

Hello and thank you for your question. In order to completely evaluate your CBC results, we need to see other numbers including Hb/Hct, WBC, Platelet count. If you only have a mild iron deficiency anemia, you can probably still go ahead with the procedure, but this is something that should be cleared by your plastic surgeon. MCH needs to be evaluated in light of other CBC diff. parameters to evaluate how significant your anemia is. In person evaluation with your primary care physician and surgeon is recommended before surgery. Good luck.

you will most likely be cleared for surgery, but every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon
