Hi Looking for a bit of advice and opinions on my graft placement and progress. I am a little concerned as I have noticed a lot of complaints have started appearing in forums regarding the company I used for my procedure. According to surgery I had 1900 grafts. I don't really see much if any progress at 5 month stage. I know it is early days but I am asking do my post op pics look as if I had 1900 grafts placed well? Customers are saying surgery has lied to them about graft no and placed them poorly.
Answer: You already had the surgery and at this point you have to just wait it out. Don't waste time reading other's complaints about y It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor. You already had the surgery and at this point you have to just wait it out. Don't waste time reading other's complaints about your doctor.

Answer: Unhappy with FUE While it’s understandable that worry has set in upon hearing others’ reviews of your surgeon, all you can do at this point is wait and see. We always recommend thoroughly researching your prospective surgeon prior to any procedures. But, once a procedure has been done, there is not much you can do but be patient. Once the one-year post-op mark hits, you will be able to fully determine the extent of your results. If you discover you are not happy or satisfied with your hair at that point, I urge you not to return the same physician. I often hear from patients who are victims of botched surgeries that the surgeon will offer them a second procedure at a discounted price. Unfortunately, they are often left worse off than before. Sometimes, a second or third opinion is needed. You may wish to meet with other hair restoration surgeons in your area to get their take on it.

Answer: Hair transplant Your photos look fine and I see no reason for concern at this point. I'd expect at least a year before full growth. Often at 5 months there is no big visible difference in hair density.

Answer: 5 Month FUE assessment Thank you for your question and posting your photos. Two things I would note. First, it appears from your post-op photos that you had an extensive number of grafts, probably the 1900 your were told. It is much too early to evaluate your final results. It takes at least 12 months to get a good assessment following a hair transplant. Second, in looking at your photos, I see a lot of miniaturization of the hair follicles. It is imperative that you be on a good hair preservation program. Options include PRP (with or without stem cells), low level laser therapy, minoxidil (Rogaine), and finasteride (Propecia). This is also helpful at promoting follicle growth in the transplanted follicles.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
