I had an FUE procedure with a highly recommended doctor for 1420 grafts to my temples and hairline. I am currently 9 weeks post op. I have been keeping my hair shaved to a 0 (no scarring). Based on the photos, am I on track here, or am I lacking growth? Also, what is the earliest I can get a procedure if I need a touch up? Can I get it earlier than 12-18 months if I don't want to wait?

Answer: It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. In general you should be able to wear a helmet after one week but check with your doctor.
Testosterone supplement or replacement therapy should not affect the transplanted hair or donor hair. If you are worried, share your concern with your doctor and inform them of your medical / medication issues.
Every surgeon or clinic have their own post op instructions so it would be better to contact your doctor. 21 days is too much. I would recommend you to apply panthenol foam lotion. Keep it for 5 hours and than wash your hair gently. Once a day will be enough.
