Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You will not have enough fat to transfer for a BBL, however, you may be a candidate for non-surgical BBL using Sculptra. Discuss this with your board certified plastic surgeon.
Thanks for your question. It is difficult to tell just from this picture if you are a good candidate for the BBL. I suggest you upload front, side and back pictures of you in a two piece bathing suit for a better evaluation. That said, the BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the upper arms and chin. Depending on your desired results, you may be asked to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience in with Skinny BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
This really depends on your fat distribution and goals. On very petite patients, I frequently do will add some lipo to arms or legs to get the needed fat for the transfer.
Thank you for your question. To provide a valid medical opinion I will need to see pictures of you body from different angles. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Dear Cool481955,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Dear Cool,Your photo does not help us see if you are a candidate. A naked or at least bikini pic of the front and the back would aid in determining if you have enough fat to transfer. Wish pics to see if you have realistic expectations would be a plus.Dr. Taranow
You may or may not be a candidate for a BBL it. Your picture really doesn’t give us any insight into your candidacy because you’re wearing a T-shirt.To make a baseline assessment we need proper pictures.Try having someone else take the picture or use the timer of your camera standing about 8 feet away. The picture should include your body from your neck to your knees showing the front, side and back wearing undergarments. With lower BMI patients in order to get sufficient amount of fat for a successful fat transfer more areas how to be included in the liposuction part of the procedure. The most common combination is liposuction of the torso. Technically a full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, full back and under arms. If that is not sufficient the liposuction can also be done of the arms and inner thighs. With that much liposuction usually enough that can be harvested to give it a successful BBL.Typically lobby in my patients need much less fat to get good results and then larger individuals. In your pictures your lower extremities look like good sources to harvest fat but we really need to see your torso as well.To maintain femininity we typically do not harvest fat from outer thighs on low BMI patients.Expect to get different opinions from different plastic surgeons. Some people simply look at the abdomen and say there’s not enough fat. In order to really exclude someone from having the procedure plastic surgeons need to think outside the box in bit. With having that much liposuction considered it is also absolutely paramount that patients choose providers will have enough experience to not leave areas disfigured from the Liposuction part of the procedure. When fat transfer procedures go wrong it is more commonly because of poorly done liposuction leaving contour a regularities that are very difficult to correct later.Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction and fat transfer results is far more difficult than people believe.Simply being a board-certified plastic surgeon is certainly not enough of a criteria to have mastered this procedure. To ensure you are in the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon who has mastered Liposuction I suggest relying exclusively on in person consultations. During consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures of the areas you’re interested in. an experienced provider should have a collection of before and after pictures that reads like a telephone book. A truly experienced provider will literally have hundreds and possibly thousands of before and after pictures for Liposuction and or fat transfer results of the areas you’re interested in. These are the providers you’re looking for.Lastly, read all the reviews on the various physician review websites and avoid providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than an abundance of positive reviews. negative reviews are always organic while positive reviews may or may not be.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello, and thanks for your question. I would recommend gaining at least 10-15 pounds in order to have a more noticeable result. Please see a board-certified physician for your consultation.
