I want a BBL but I've seen two doctors and both have said I don't have enough fat - is this true? (photos)

This kind of depends on what your goals are. If you want a huge booty, there is likely not enough fat on your small frame. If you just want some rounding and small increase of curves, then you are likely an appropriate candidate.

Based on your pictures you appear to be good candidate for Intense liposuction in your belly, arms, upper and lower back, outer thighs and banana rolls to get good results for the fat transfer to the buttocks. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Based on these photos, it is my impression that you may have quite sufficient amount of fat on your torso to satisfy needs of buttock augmentation; you do not seem to need much? Only on the basis of in person or teleconference consultation one could give you more accurate evaluation. Good luck.

I don’t see you candidacy for a BBL as being yes or no black or white. Instead it’s a matter of relative terms.

For those who have less subcutaneous fat in order to get a good result more areas have to be included with the liposuction part of the treatment. when that’s done it’s pretty rare that somebody can’t get at least a moderate result. The most common combination is treatment of the entire torso. Mini plastic surgeons do not fully treat the entire back or under arms with a BBL and this is an excellent source of more facts that can be used. After that arms and inner thighs can create a substantial amount of fat that can be used as well. if the patient is willing to have liposuction of that many areas and then it’s usually not difficult to get enough fat for the procedure.

Perhaps you just haven’t found the right plastic surgeon.

It’s also important to understand what you’re trying to achieve.

For example if your primary goal is to get a flat abdomen the Liposuction is probably not going to do much because your abdominal bulging is pregnancy related and for that you most likely need a tummy tuck with muscle tightening.

Continue scheduling in person consultations.

During the consultation ask each provider to show all of their before and after pictures of a low bmi bbl results. For each case review with the doctor exactly what areas were treated with Liposuction and to what extent.

Lastly, ask yourself what you’re willing to go through to have this procedure and is it acceptable to have liposuction of that many areas?

I agree that gaining weight for the purpose of having a bbl’s is a bad idea.

Hello, and thanks for your question. I would recommend gaining at least 10-15 pounds in order to have a more noticeable result. It is really up to you if you would like to sacrifice gaining a little weight in order to achieve your desired look. Please see a board-certified physician for your consultation.
