Can nipple placement be moved out after a breast lift? (Photos)

Your result is excellent. I don’t think you need a revision at all and your nipple placement appears correct

Normally distance from the chest midline to the nipple is around 11 cm; nipple should be positioned on the top and center of the breast mount. If nipples are placed on a side it gives unnatural look to the breasts. You should address this issue with your surgeon once you decide to do breast lift. Good luck.

Your surgical plan should include a breast lift that reconfigures the breast tissue and improves the position of the nipple with an inverted J-shaped scar. Hello, Thank you for your question. The short answer is yes it can be revised but you would have to wait at least 1 year to performing additional surgery. It also will depend on the plastic surgeon if they are willing to undergo risks of revision. There is always a degree of asymmetry after surgery , we do try our best to improve the appearance but can be difficult to predict certain outcomes. We do over correct because as time goes on the breast will slightly drop. Be patient and Im sure things over time will improve.

Yes, the nipple position can be repositioned and moved further apart with future revision surgery to the breast.

The result of your breast-lift looks great. If you decide you want your nipples to be in another position, it may be done with surgery.

Measurements and examination are needed to be certain as to where your nipples should be. Sometimes the nipples are where they should be, but the pocket needs to be adjusted.

From the provided photos it appears that your nipple placement is correct. It can be altered to a degree with revision surgery, but it does not appear it is necessary in your situation.

From the examples you show, the photos appear to have been taken early in the postoperative period. Soft tissue remodeling occurs over a period of 6-12 months after surgery and the breasts will usually drop and spread a significant distance.
The surgical goal is to place the nipple areolar complex at the apex of the breast cone. The breast bone to nipple distance should approximate the inter-nipple distance.
Revisional surgery to change nipple-areolar location may introduce new surgical scars in potentially visible areas.
