I got a breast lift 1.5 years ago & am unhappy with my results. I asked for my nipples to be tilted slightly upward & not positioned so low/close to the IMF. I got neither of these things along with no significant lift. My boobs are uneven & droopy. Is there anything I can do? I think the surgeon knows he messed up since he offered to redo the surgery for free but I’d still have the pay the OR fee and anesthesia which would be like 5,000. I am only 22 & they’re so saggy.

Answer: Recurrent sagginess after breast lift Unfortunately, your result is something that is seen after lift of larger breasts. Gravity is pooling breast tissue down, in lower pole, while upper pole becomes flatter and deflated. Your nipples seem to be in good position, relative to breast mound!. Augmentation with small implants (including small breast reduction to decrease volume of breast tissue prone to sagging?) and tightening of the lower pole with additional skin excision, are some of the possibilities. Good luck.

Answer: Breast lift Dear Plucky76076, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
