Follow up: did my surgeon do a bad job or am I expecting too much? Can I get different results? (Photos)

Question

My Dr. claims he lifted them as high as possible but because of skin quality and undense breast tissue they sag. I think he didn’t lift them up very high but I am also not a surgeon so it is hard to know if I’m right here. did he truly not lift them high enough/do his job? I just don’t want to go through this again and get the same results because he is right and this is how my body will always respond. Is it possible to get the lift I want or will even the best surgeon produce results like this

I don’t have the advantage of seeing before photos. It looks pretty good. I would need to take exact measurements to determine if nipple placement is correct

Hello, thank you for your question. Over time with gravity and the weight of breast tissues on the skin, sagging is inevitable. It usually happens over time and we strongly advise always wearing a good supportive bra. Sometimes we remove breast tissues to help remove some of the weight on the skin. Of course this would mean smaller breasts.

Measurements are needed to be sure, but based on your photos, your breast appear to naturally sit somewhat low on your chest. The base of your breasts cannot be moved.  Some women cannot have high sitting breasts.

It would help if you had 2-6 week post op photos to see how high or tight the breasts were. Now it seems that you would get upper pole fullness if you had another mastopexy.  
In your surgeons defense, I have had.  Few patients over the years who stretched out considerably postop and required revisions.
