You may benefit from liposuction done with your surgeon's office which would certainly outlast non-surgical treatments depending on the amount of skin laxity. During your initial examination, your #chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results.
A board certified plastic surgeon should evaluate both your anatomical features and aesthetic goals to determine if a neck lift and/or #chin procedure best suits your individual needs. In some cases your plastic surgeon may give you more than one option to choose from. Laser assisted liposuction, aka SmartLipo, is an excellent procedure to provide you with correction of the double chin.  The procedure will not only melt away stubborn submental fat, but will also provide a degree of skin tightening which cannot be achieved with traditional liposuction.  Laser assisted liposuction is routinely performed under local anesthesia, with a mild oral medication for relaxation, just like traditional liposuction.   If you have gained a significant amount of weight, it was best to lose the weight first, before undergoing elective liposuction in the neck.  Liposuction of the neck is best used for   Patients who have diet resistant fat.  Anticipate 10 days of visible bruising and swelling after liposuction in the neck.

 Hi, I have performed many chin augmentations and facial shaping procedures over the past 30 years.  Your photos show a chin that is quite weak as well as formation of a "double chin" consisting of excess fat and skin below the chin.  When the chin is weak, this creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy, the lower face looks shorter, lip fullness is de-emphasized while early formation of a double chin occurs.  Chin augmentation using a silastic chin implant will add forward projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. 
 I place silastic chin implants, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) in 30 minutes or less, often using a local anesthetic alone and find this technique to be very safe, quick, highly effective and far less invasive than a sliding genioplasty.  In my opinion, you are a good candidate for chin implant surgery.  Liposuction or any other method of fat reduction under the chin by itself will reduce the fat but is unable to correct the weak chin by providing the necessary forward chin projection.
