I had permanent filler on my nasolabial 5 years ago I hate them so much, it looks as if I had an earth worm it’s more noticeable on my right side, I already tried steroid shots it didn’t Work I also had an aspiration done 3 wks ago it didn’t work, please help. I forgot to mention I forgot what was exactly was injected

Answer: Permenent filler problems. I'm sorry for your situation. This is a problem with permanent fillers! They cannot be dissolved easily. I suggest 5FU and Steroid, but you should have an expert inject this for you.If non-surgical methods fail, then consider surgical excision.Good luck. Dr. ALDO

Answer: Nasolabial fold scar after filler It appears that the filler has either been injected too superficially or that you have acquired a keloid/granuloma. If steroid injections have not helped then it may have to be excised. This will leave you with a scar. A good surgeon could hide it in the nasolabial fold, but it will most likely remain visible. If you are susceptible to keloids you would need to remember that this can then also cause a keloid.
