A hyaluronic acid filler, such as Restylane, typically lasts about 1 year when injected in the tear trough. Hyaluronidase can be injected to break down the hyaluronic acid filler faster than it would normally dissolve on its own.
Thanks for your question. It would be a pleasure to answer this for you!The typical filler in the tear trough last about 1 year. It can be dissolved with an enzyme injection called hyaluronidase. To avoid issues in the future, I recommend Restylane with a cannula technique.See an expert. Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. Depending on the specific product used, hyaluronic acid fillers can last up to about 12 months in this area. However, if you’re unhappy with your results and would like to dissolve the product sooner, your injector can use an enzyme called hyaluronidase to break down the filler more quickly. Just make sure you’re working with an experienced professional to minimize the chance of complications.
Injecting filler in the tear troughs is one of the most difficult cosmetic treatments in the face. The skin in the area is very thin, and if not injected carefully it is possible to see lumps of filler under the skin, or even a “blueish colour” due to light being reflected from the filler. The area is also prone to swelling and bruising. Careful injection of filler will minimise the risks of lumpy and visible filler under the eyes. An injection performed with a blunt tipped micro-cannula, as opposed to a sharp needle, is not only less traumatic, with less bruising and swelling, but also allows deeper filler placement with minimal lumpiness. The use of cannula will permit much more accurate filler placement, and your results will be much more natural looking.Everyone breaks down filler at a different rate, but on average it would take six to twelve months for the filler to dissolve naturally. If you are very unhappy with the result, your cosmetic physician should be able to dissolve the filler.
Hello I have experience of removing dermal filler with Hylase from the tear trough area 5 years after it was placed. We naturally break down filler very slowly in this area but the change in anatomy is quicker and this can cause retained filler to shift position over time. This presents as swelling under the eyes and it can look blue.PRP takes longer to show results but it is natural and strengthens the anatomy around the eyes so it never gives any of these problems.PRP is always my first choice for my clients.Happy to help.Victoria
Hello, and thank you for your question. The right dermal filler may be able to give you the smoother look you want by filling in the vertical lines around your lips. Other options include professional skin care products such as a topical retinoid that can help to boost collagen production. I...

Honestly, it is hard to remove dimples with filler. I suspect the dimples will return as the filler wears off. You could have the filler reversed using hyaluronidase if need be.
