The laser assisted weekend necklift uses a small incision behind each of the eyes, and one underneath the chin that is unnoticeable. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon because you seem to be an ideal candidate for laser assisted weekend necklift.

Hi lizyaffa,You may be referring to FaceTite®, which, through very tiny incisions (slightly larger than needle pokes), a device is used to melt fat and tighten neck and jawline skin and soft tissue, using heat created by radiofrequency.  This is appropriate in some patients, typically in their 40s and early 50s, who have good neck skin elasticity and minimal jowling.However, a lot of patients would benefit, rather, from a lower face and/or necklift.  If only a necklift, most of the incision can be hidden behind the ear.  If the lower face is to be included, then incision necessarily has to extend into the natural creases in the front of the ear, but these hide nicely if done meticulously.I suggest you go for an in-person evaluation with a doctor who performs FaceTite® and lower face/neck lifts to see if you're a candidate for one or the other.Best wishes,Dr. Jay
