Is my goal semi realistic ? I'm not expecting to look identical by any means but I would like a much thinner smaller clitoral hood and labia... They look wrinkly and im 21, with no kids and only have had 2 sexual partners in my life. What is the recovery like? I would like to do it the same time as a Breasy augmwntation. Will one week be enough to go back to work?

Answer: Clitoral hood reduction and labiaplasty You are an excellent candidate for clitoral hood reduction and labiaplasty, but I would recommend conservative reductions. The procedure may be performed under local anesthesia. Two or three days away from work is adequate for most of my patients.

Answer: Labiaplasty and Clitoral Hood Reduction HI,I think that you are an excellent candidate for labiaplasty surgery with clitoral hood reduction. The surgery can be performed as an outpatient and the recovery is fairly uneventful. I prefer the central wedge technique as it gives a more aesthetic and taught post-operative appearance. I frequently perform labiaplasty at the same time as breast augmentation and find that patients tolerate this combination of procedures quite well. One week off from work (as long as it is not too physical) should be sufficient (though you will still be sore). All my best,Daniel A. Medalie, MD
