Why is 1 implant stuck high? What happens next? Can this be fixed without surgery? (photo)

 I am sorry you are having these issues, however it can take as long as six months for both implants to drop and settle in. If after this time frame the implant is still high, a short operation will be needed to release any scar tissue holding the implant up and bring it down to the proper position. Discuss these issues with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.

It can take as long as 6 months for your implants to drop and settle in. If you are still experiencing this issue after that time frame, it is possible to perform a procedure to release any scar tissue holding the implant up and bring it down to the proper position. However, it is best to talk to the surgeon who performed your procedure about your concerns.

Sweetlikethat Hi There , Thank you for your Question By looking at your Photos , and with the information you provide , its hard to determine how long have pass since you had this procedure , looking at your scars 2 months I will say because of the healing process , can't be certain , each individual its unique and heal at different speeds , having said that you need to wait at least 6 months to see the real result of your surgery if it doesn't drop a short surgery can fix that , to release any scar tissue holding the implant up so don,t worry it is fixable .  good luck to you 

If one implant is still too high eleven months out, it is probably due to a capsular contracture. Non-surgical means of dealing with this are largely ineffectual so surgery is your best option. Good luck!

I like patients to displace the implant when sitting side to side. This stretches the pectoral muscle and nerves where needed. A bandeau can help  lower the implant if used early. Talk to your plastic surgery.

it is very normal for your implants to drop at different speeds. you don't provide any dates but I suspect you are early on in the healing phase. you should wait 3-4 months before judging the implant position.david berman md
