Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question. Ultherapy is a FDA cleared non-invasive facelift procedure to rejuvenate and tighten skin on the face, forehead and neck. Ultherapy treatments improve wrinkles on the face, neck and décolletage with no downtime. Ultherapy works by administering ultrasound energy to specific depths of skin and muscle with precise ultrasound guidance, which causes tissue tightening and collagen production. IPL is a laser that can deliver energy to targeted pigment spots (sun damage) to destroy them. Ultherapy combined with laser can help reduce fine wrinkles and sun damage.
Ultherapy does a great job of re-texturing damaged skin on the face, chest and elsewhere, and even providing a lift. It can be combined with microneedling, chemical peels, and IPL, depending on your needs. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can evaluate your skin and prescribe the best treatment(s).
Ultherapy is great in addressing the skin texture and fine lines at the decolage by promoting collagen to tighten the skin. The best part is that the effects are long lasting! We recommend combination therapy to receive optimal results, especially when sun damage is involved. Pairing Ultherapy with IPL will address sun damage concerns. Always schedule with a board certified plastic surgeon and a practice that is thoroughly trained in Ultherapy to achieve the best results. Good luck!
Ultherapy can help improve the appearance of chest wrinkles. However, chest wrinkles are best treated using a combination of treatments along with Ultherapy. We have had great results using a combination of Ultherapy, Fillers, Microneedling, Radiofrequency, and Lasers. Make sure you find an experienced physician for an in-person consultation and evaluation.
Ultherapy works great for upper chest area laxity and wrinkles and its totally non invasive with no down time. Recommend a consultation to get full evaluation and treatment recommendations.
Yes, I recommend ultherapy for this, but usually a combination approach on the neck/chest is needed to get improvement Often I do prp, fillers and lasers (Co2, Fraxel) to get initial improvement and then skin tightening devices like Thermage and/or ultherapy to improve results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Ultherapy is an excellent treatment for reducing fine lines on the chest. You are correct in stating that those are often caused by side sleeping. Ultherapy works to tighten muscles as well as stimulate collagen production, which then tightens the skin. It will not decrease hyperpigmentation, so if the sun damage you are referring to is in the form of brown discoloration, you will need another treatment for that. Lasers and/or chemical peels can be good treatments for reducing browns. Doing this in combination with an Ulthera treatment will give you a beautiful chest!
HI and thank you for your question! Ultherapy is great for skin rejuvenation in the decolletage area, especially for deeper folds and wrinkles. We may suggest we do Ultherapy combined with skin resurfacing (HALO!) for the skin damage and more fine lines. Come in for a complementary consultation! We can advise you most effectively on whats best once we evaluate in person. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
Ulthera scored and FDA indication for treatment of the area on the upper chest (the décolletage) which is prone to sun damage. The treatment takes about 45-minutes to administer and results should be apparent within 3-months. The length of time required for results is due to the process of collagen remodelling/reorganization which takes several weeks.I hopwe this answer is helpful.
Hi Dear What heat of the these instruments can do actually make the collagen unwind and coil back stronger. Thank you Ramtin Massoudi, MD
Most patients will start to see results as early as 3 months, but some can take a full 6 months to see the difference. Sometimes that difference is not appreciated until before and after photos are taken. Scheduling your patients for 3 and 6 month follow ups after Ultherapy is a must....
HI there! We don't find Ultherapy to cause any problem with rosacea or with people prone to hyperpigmentation. These tend to be more superficial and Ultherapy treats deeper tissue. These are just some of the numerous benefits of Ultherapy! No concerns with these conditions or with sun exposure ...
