Procedures I'm known for

Fillers and Other Injectables
No matter how well you take care of your skin, you can’t prevent the effects of aging. Over time, our faces lose fat and volume, making skin sag and emphasizing fine lines and wrinkles. At my offices in the greater Seattle area, Issaquah, and Bellevue, I offer dermal fillers, also known as soft-tissue fillers or injectables, to make your skin look vibrant and youthful. Dermal fillers are a nonsurgical anti-aging procedure that plump the injected area until wrinkles, folds and depressions disappear. I use the Juvéderm family of dermal fillers, including Voluma and Vobella, made from synthetic hyaluronic acid. Because hyaluronic acid attracts water, it temporarily creates volume. Dermal fillers can also plump cheeks, enlarge thin lips, fix frown and marionette lines, fill in the lower cheek or temple area, and smooth recessed scars from acne, burns, or other wounds.
Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement
If you’ve toyed with the idea of getting a facelift but don’t want to undergo surgery, I offer a groundbreaking, nonsurgical facelift procedure that smoothes wrinkles and leaves patients with tighter, younger skin. Profound is a handheld device that uses radiofrequency (RF) technology and microneedling to create new elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid—the elements that keep your skin smooth and contoured. I use it on the cheeks and neck to improve the jowls, lift sagging skin on the upper neck, minimize double chins, restore volume, and smooth deep creasing. The results are remarkably similar to a facelift. Results usually appear in as little as two weeks, but maximum effects will appear within three to nine months, as your body replaces old collagen and elastic tissue. Come visit us at our Bellevue, WA or Issaquah, WA locations to learn more!
Vein Treatments
Unsightly veins, caused by alcohol consumption, sun exposure, weight, hormones, genes, injuries, and a number of other issues, are a common problem among patients. Whether you’re dealing with superficial spider veins (broken capillaries) or larger varicose veins (blue veins under the skin), I often find that the best treatment is a combination of traditional aesthetic procedures and a surgical approach. At my practices in Bellevue and Issaquah, I provide a number of treatment options, including intense pulsed light (IPL), a noninvasive cosmetic treatment that is popular for spider veins and rosacea, and a transdermal laser that we use on spider and reticular veins. We also use sclerotherapy—which treats blood vessels by injecting veins with a solution that makes them shrink—and Venefit, a technique known as endovenous ablation, which uses radiofrequency to cauterize and close affected varicose veins.

Total years in practice: 14

Dr. Ramandeep Sidhu is a board-certified vascular surgeon, serving the greater Seattle area with offices in Issaquah and Bellevue, Washington. The medical director of Vein, Vascular & Aesthetic Associates (VIVAA), he specializes in percutaneous aneurysm repair, endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease, treatment for varicose veins, open vascular surgical procedures, and deep vein thrombosis/pulmonary embolism treatment.

He believes in treating cosmetic concerns alongside the medical, which is why he also offers aesthetic services such as dermal fillers, chemical peels, Profound RF microneedling, and CoolSculpting, along with a variety of quick, in-office procedures to treat varicose veins and spider veins.

“Vascular surgery is the only surgical specialty that involves treating the whole body and has significant medical management, too,” says Dr. Sidhu. “I was always fascinated with the fine details involved in vascular procedures and the gratification we get from preventing someone from having a stroke, losing a leg, or dying from an aneurysm.”

Dr. Sidhu earned his medical degree from the University of Bombay (now the University of Mumbai) in India. After moving to the U.S., he completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Jobst Vascular Center in Toledo, Ohio, followed by a residency in general surgery at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, where he later worked as a staff physician.

A RealSelf Hall of Famer for his outstanding commitment to patient education, Dr. Sidhu prides himself on individualized patient care and providing a compassionate atmosphere, with plenty of time to answer medical questions.

Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery - Vascular, Dr. Sidhu is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Vascular Ultrasound, the Society of Vascular Surgery, and the Washington State Medical Association.
