Dear iratarThank you for your question! Nano fat grafting is the utilization of the components of the fat tissue that trigger wound healing and tissue regeneration. It is good for skin rejuvenation, healing post laser and fine lines. It can be used in combination with other procedures or on its own. With warm RegardsTrevor M Born MD
Nano fat is just a terminology for how we personally process the fat. We all have our own tricks and techniques we have learned through experience. I use nano fat around the eyes and in the lips. For cheecks, jaws and chin I like larger fat transfer globules.Hope this helps,Best of luck,DrC
iratar. Nano fat is simply harvested fat that is strained or treated in such a way to make the fat smoother for transfer to the face. This usually involves running the fat through a device that acts like a tiny strainer. I have found it useful for fat transfer to the face because it looks more natural. Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in the area for evaluation to see if this would be an option for you. Good luck.
It is a fancy way for someone to promote their fat injection practice. Fat injection to the face is done in small parcels. You can call it what you want but it is the same.
Great Question. During fat transfer, the fat can be processed so that it's consistency, thickness, etc can be modified so that it's best for the area being treated.Harvested fat is lumpy. Controlled filtration (think strainers) bring the size down to milli, micro, and nano sized particles and make the fat consistent so the placement can do what you want it to do.Nano fat is sized so that it can be used intra-dermally and in the lower lid so it great for texture and color issues with facial skin.
This is needs an in-person evaluation. A combination of 5/FU steroids, lasers, microneedling/prp and radiofrequency can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Volume loss in the upper face with aging is something that we are all probably genetically programmed to experience. Some of this volume loss is from fat reduction but bony erosion and loss of elasticity also contribute. Though not scientifically proven, eating and living a healthy life with...
I would suggest that you not go directly to fat transfer. A good option, rather, would be a commercial filler such as Juvederm. This would give you an opportunity to participate in the decision process as the filler is injected. You can then determine if you like what you see and then co...
Fortunately you look okay. But I have rarely seen a patient who had fat grafting to the face and thought it was worthwhile m. Many surgeons perform fat grafting during a facelift. Costs a lot more but does nothing in my opinion.
Once you have atrophy the only option is lasers and fillers. These can be improved with a combination of surgery and/or lasers and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
