If fat graft was injected in the muscle is it able to be removed ?? What are your options ... I’m not sure where it was injected but I’m Asking fircwiest case scenario ... my fat graft is 3 years old by the way and been on a long long journey for removal ... I’ve done micro lipo but looking for more invasive ways to remove it ... thank you

This is needs an in-person evaluation. A combination of 5/FU steroids, lasers, microneedling/prp and radiofrequency can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

It is not likely that fat grafted into a muscle is accessible for removal. An ultrasound may show how deep the fat is, but the removal process would probably cause too much damage to the tissue and scars to be indicated.

Need more information regarding which muscle the fat was injected into. There are a few surgeons who make fake looking abdominal looking muscles but the fat is actually not in the muscle and just caked on. Please provide a photograph or consider a Skype consultation with a fat grafting specialist to get your question answered.
