I have undergone fat transfer by a local surgeon. I specified I only wanted to fill hollow under my eyes, but he ended up overfilling my whole face. I am now 3 weeks post operation. My under eyes are still swollen and my face look very fat. Is there a chance to go back near normal by liposuction ?

Answer: Fat transfer Most plastic surgeons will slightly overfill as not all the fat survives or "takes". You may also still have some post op swelling present. It takes a few months to determine the end result or how much fat truly survived. I would wait a couple months before deciding on any further procedures. You may be happy with the result.

Answer: Fat Injections After lipotransfer, the face and surrounding areas can remain swollen for weeks. I would not make harsh judgements about your face and final outcome until 3-6 months after your procedure. You may be pleasantly surprised about your outcome.
