I know there are many causes for volume loss but I am thin person so I guess for me, facial fat loss would be a problem. Is it possible to have a treatment to prevent fat from depleting?
Answer: Is it possible to prevent facial fat loss? Volume loss in the upper face with aging is something that we are all probably genetically programmed to experience. Some of this volume loss is from fat reduction but bony erosion and loss of elasticity also contribute. Though not scientifically proven, eating and living a healthy life with good diet and avoidance of sun exposure and avoidance of excess alcohol and tobacco give you the best chance for maintenance of a youthful look. Look into the addition of healthy vegetables, plants and antioxidants to your diet, and if you're interested in proceeding further look up Dr. Michael Greger on YouTube for more information about healthy living and dietary changes that you could make.Ultimately, with progressive aging one may need to consider fat grafting or other means of volume restoration such as hyaluronic acid combined with chemical peels, laser peels and botulinum toxin if desired.
