What treatment or procedure will fix steroid atrophy? Would ReCell help? (photos)

I have steroid atrophy on my forehead after long-term use of Elocon. What would be the best procedure to smooth out my skin and return its elasticity. How can I get rid of the striae? I asked my GP about skin graft and fat transfer but they said that my skin tone would turn out uneven. I have also been looking into ReCell - could this help?

If the Bellafill was placed at the subcutaneous level, 5 FU should not damage the implant. However it could potentially increase the chances of infection. Discuss it with your board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

Hi SweetLime00,You may have a chance with Kybella, but this could lead to unpredictable results.  Surgical removal through incisions or liposuction is really the only way to precisely remove the transferred fat.Best wishes,Dr. Jay

There is no permanent reversal to fat grafting unless its surgically or liposuction removal.  You can try steroids + 5FU + hyaliuronidase with or without RF treatments like venus legacy and exilis ultra to get improvement. I suggest you see an expert for an evaluation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi Long recovering,Great to hear of the improvement you're having to the hypertrophic scar.  Kenalog is excellent for this.  V beam is mainly for pigmentation, so I doubt that will affect the 'take' of the fat/prp injected into the scar.  But kenalog injected into the same area/depth as the fat ...

For complicated revision eye issue, photos and examination is needed to give you accurate response. It is possible eye fat has prolapsed. You may benefit from lower blepharoplasty.
