I recently underwent an FUE procedure. I was a bit surprised that the doctor did not enter the room until after all of the grafts were harvested. For a couple of hours, the technicians were performing the extractions of the grafts. The surgeon came in to make the incisions in the scalp and then handed the job of planting grafts back to a team of technicians. All in all, it was a nine hour procedure (1,500 grafts), and the doctor was present for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Is that normal?
