FUE transplant 13th days post-op, 90% of my hair is shedding along with transplanted hair -- is this normal? (Photo)

It's 13th day of my hair transplant. 90% of the transplanted hair sheded, only 10 percent transplanted hair remain and have some growth, is it normal. scabs are 100 percent clear. kindly have a look over the snaps and advise, is it normal process.

It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.

Your clinic should of informed you that shedding of the transplanted hair at 2 weeks is expected and is normal. The permanent growth usually does not begin until the third or fourth month post-op.

Hair shedding is a normal phenomenon. Usually it occurs within the first 2nd week to the 6th week of transplant. But it has been known to occur sooner or later as much as 6th month of hair transplantation. It is absolutely normal. There is nothing to be alarmed about. So, please be assured the hair will grow back.

If you have hair in the transplanted area, most likely will shed. It can take a long time for the hair to grow back but it can be discouraging. Hang in there and you will most likely if you don't have good re-growth by one year then you will probably need another transplant. You should consider stem transplant also.

Shedding of the native hair after a hair transplant is almost always shock loss which can last up to a year. Shedding of the grafts is normal, see below
