I was advised to use saline spray on the transplanted area from Day 0 of transplant. Somehow I was confused and started using saline spray from Day next to surgery. Will this have any bearing on survival of grafts. Please advise. Please find the day 5 pic of recipient area below.

Answer: It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.
Any vasoconstrictive effects are very minor and there will be no effect on your surgery. I cannot give any advice on when to resume smoking, as you shouldn't. If you've given up smoking for the procedure then now is the best time to quit completely.
To determine the value of the donor area the doctor needs a hand microscope to measure the follicular unit density present. That will tell you much about your total donor supply
