I've heard that caffeine can be detrimental to the establishment of blood supply with regards the newly implanted grafts, due to its vasoconstrictive properties. Smoking is quite self explanatory.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.There is no issue with tea or coffee.

Coffee and tea are not an issue.  Nicotine and smoking are detrimental in many ways and should be avoided in general.

Any vasoconstrictive effects are very minor and there will be no effect on your surgery. I cannot give any advice on when to resume smoking, as you shouldn't. If you've given up smoking for the procedure then now is the best time to quit completely.

Hi. I don't usually ask patients to refrain from Coffee after hair transplants. Smoking, on the other hand, has a huge impact on circulation and healing. I suggest stopping cigarettes a few days before and staying off as long as possible after, at least 5 or 6 days.
